Wind turbine tower and lifting method thereof

The invention relates to a wind turbine tower and a lifting method thereof. The wind turbine tower comprises a tower base, a segment hinged to the base through a pin, and a lifting unit; the lifting unit at least comprises an oil cylinder, a support bar and a cylinder seat. The lifting unit is operated to move a tower from the horizontal direction to the vertical direction. The cylinder seat is a variable position cylinder seat; at least two hinge support slots and bearing slots, arranged from bottom to top; the hinge support slots are used for fixing the oil cylinder; the bearing slots are used for supporting the support bar; the bottom of the oil cylinder can be hinged to the hinge support slots according to the lifting position of the segment; the top end of the oil cylinder is hinged to the segment; the hinge support slots at least include a lower hinge support slot and an upper hinge support slot; the top of the support bar is hinged to the segment, and the bottom thereof is locked in the bearing slots; the bearing slots at least include an upper bearing slot and a lower bearing slot. By multiply changing the positions of hinging points of the oil cylinder and the cylinder seat, lifting and lowering of the tower is achieved; the wind turbine tower is light in structural weight and convenient to manufacture.
