Automatic ignition and flameout control method for engine of passenger car

The invention provides an automatic ignition and flameout control method for an engine of a passenger car. The method includes the following steps that when a whole car controller detects that the engine is running, the work condition information of the engine and the running state information of the passenger car which are received in real time are analyzed and judged, a flameout instruction is sent to an ECU of the engine, and the engine is controlled to perform flameout; when the whole car controller detects that the engines stops, safety belt connection or disconnection information, clutch pedal information and accelerator pedal information which are received in real time are analyzed and judged, an ignition instruction is sent to the ECU of the engine, and the engine is controlled to perform ignition. With the method, by judging the state and the running environment of the passenger car and the intention of a driver, the flameout instruction and the ignition instruction are automatically sent, the idling running time of the engine is shortened under the condition that use is not affected, and the consumption of fuel and the quantity of discharged pollutants are reduced.
