The Load Equivalence Method for Dynamic Frequency Analysis of large Power Grid

Frequency is a particularly important operating parameter in power systems, and power system frequency characteristics analysis lays the foundation of frequency stability analysis and control. Different simulation models will have different effects on the results of simulation calculation, especially the accuracy of load model will play a vital role in the final simulation results of power grid. In this paper, typical static load model and induction motor model are introduced and frequency characteristics are analyzed. A parameter aggregation method of load model based on adjusting performance weighting is proposed. The effectiveness of the load equivalence method is verified by an example of Fujian power grid.
