Why Do Drivers Change Routes? Impact of Graphical Route Information Panels

Drivers' route choice response to graphical route information panels (GRIPs) is quantitatively analyzed using discrete choice models through a case study of real-life GRIPs in Shanghai, China. A logit model for predicting route choice probabilities is developed.
