The natural history of asymptomatic patients with aortic regurgitation and normal left ventricular function.

Chez les malades asymptomatiques, les deces sont rares et moins de 4% des malades par an necessitent un remplacement valvulaire pour l'apparition de symptomes ou le developpement d'une dysfonction ventriculaire gauche. Lorsque le remplacement valvulaire est retarde jusqu'a l'apparition de symptomes, la survie postoperatoire est excellente
