Prominent point InSAR phase filter

The statistical property of prominent points in SAR interferometry is discussed after the derivation of the probability density function of Hermitian product of two correlated Rican class SAR signals. A simple processing strategy is then provided for better phase filtering performance based on prominent point index. The validity of the proposed method is demonstrated by SIR-C/X-SAR data. Our initial results show the advantage of such algorithm over conventional ones.
