Adaptive chromatic dispersion equalization for non-dispersion managed coherent systems

Blind adaptive chromatic dispersion equalization for coherent polarization multiplexed (NRZ/RZ)-QPSK receivers is presented. A novel low complexity estimation algorithm precisely estimates arbitrarily large dispersion in a fixed adaptation length.
