외단열 시스템의 열성능 개선을 위한 Passive Turn Cap에 관한 실험적 연구

Internal insulation systems are applied to most buildings in Korea. However, the internal insulation systems have poor performance due to the heat bridges through structures such as slabs. On the other hand, the external insulation systems have better thermal performance because the heat bridges through the structure are rarely formed. But heat bridges through the connectors between structure and external insulation affect heat performance of the envelope system. Passive Turn Cap(PTC) is the connector for reduce the heat loss in external insulation. In this paper, the experiment was conducted by applying PTC between two chambers of which indoor temperature was controlled. PTC reduced heat flow through the fastener so that the temperature of indoor surface was higher than that in usual. And condensation can be reduced.
