The Numerical Calculation of Voltage Waveform of Synchronous Generator with Skewed Slots

To reduce calculation time,the finite element method coupled circuit in time domain was employed to calculate the no load voltage waveform.A two dimensional model in time domain was built,the skewing coefficient of back emf was deduced to consider the function of skewed slots in stator.The telephone harmonic distortion(THD) of synchronous generator was obtained.In addition,a suggestion about time interval in time domain was raised.The presented method has significance to the harmonic analysis in power system.
