Abstract Several powerful and adapted methods for Enterprise Modelling and Enterprise Engineering allow to describe, to test by using simulation and/or human expertise and to improve operational processes in a company. It must be interesting to give the user some formal concepts and associated tools in order to understand process behaviour and to validate decision of evolution. For this, other approaches have to be developed. This paper presents a set of concepts (property model, granularity and stratification concepts) and a language of property description called LUSP (Unified Language of Specification of Properties). The article shows the development approach as well as the various concepts necessary to the implementation of language LUSP.
