A metallic 3D printed K-band ridged horn antenna

In this paper, a metallic 3D printed K-band (18–26.5 GHz) antenna is proposed. The proposed antenna consists of a circle horn antenna, a flange and a transition from flange to horn antenna. For improved performance of the antenna at upper band, double ridges are printed symmetrically at the inside wall of the horn antenna. At the same time, two gradual ridges connect the double ridges and flange for a smoothly impedance transition.
