New approach to multihop - cellular based multihop network

By observing problems of multihop ad hoc networks, this paper proposes cellular based multihop network architecture, which is able to give network control packets better QoS. This leads to reliable network operation and promises much better performance comparing to ad hoc multihop network. In addition, a source routing algorithm in this architecture is proposed and implemented. The simulation results demonstrated the potentials and advantages of this architecture, in terms of robustness, performance and scalability.
