??Recently, a number of sensor evaluation criteria have been proposed which is based on the structural behavior or compliance matrix of a force-torque sensor. The compliance matrix of the force-torque sensor represents a linear relationship between strains of internal elastic structures and external forces and moments acting on the sensor. The compliance matrix has an important role in force sensing accuracy. In this paper, we analyzed of a new force-sensing elastic structure with simple 4 legs in terms of compliance matrices. Also, the surface strain distribution calculated from analytically is compared with the one from finite element analysis.
