Developing Your Business Intelligence Roadmap

While this book is not intended to be an implementation manual for all things BI, it would be incomplete as a guide book if we did not consider how business information consumers, business intelligence managers, and developers team to articulate the long-term vision, a strategy for achieving that vision, and the practical tactics to be taken to implement that strategy. There are certainly good texts that guide the development of a business intelligence roadmap. One that is particularly useful (and has guided the development of this chapter) is by Larissa Moss and Shaku Atre, titled “Business Intelligence Roadmap.”
