Luminescence lifetime measurements in Yb3+-doped KY(WO4)2 and KGd (WO4)2

Emission decay measurements with suppression of reabsorption effect were performed for Yb:KYW and Yb:KGW crystals and the radiative lifetimes of 233 and 243 microseconds, respectively, were determinated.
