Computer processing of scintillation camera images

Abstract A rapid computer method for processing images obtained by scintillation camera for medical diagnosis is described. The main features of the processing methods are the data smoothing technique by applying non-linear filtering and image resolution improvement using a non-damping filter function in the frequency domain.
