The Use of a Discriminant Function in Textile Research

This is the first in a series of investigations on the testing of rayon fabrics for perspiration resistance. This study was supported by a grant-in-aid from the American Viscose Corporation and was conducted as a part of a research fellowship maintained by this company in the Ellen H. Richards Institute, The Pennsylvania State College. The authors are particularly indebted to Dr. Frederic Bonnet and Mr. Arthur Wachter of the American Viscose Corporation for valuable advice in the conduct of this study. Bibliography
