Wind-solar hybrid streetlights monitoring system networking optimization

A networking optimization strategy, ZigBee Serial Network is put forward, in order to make up the disadvantage of ZigBee Mesh network and realize real-time effective monitoring for wind-solar hybrid streetlights. A wireless monitoring system is designed based on ZigBee Serial Network and 3G technology. ZigBee Serial Network only has Full Function Device nodes, which has the advantages of stable transmission, wide covered area, easy to change failure modules. It is suitable for wind-solar hybrid streetlights monitoring or remote serial data transmission. Its structure and building mode is introduced. ZigBee and 3G modules, software process, ultimately experiments and engineering application results of the monitoring system are provided. It shows that ZigBee Serial Network is stable, low packet loss rate, and the monitoring system is low cost, easy to realize, accurately reflecting running state of the streetlights. It has a wide application prospect for wind-solar hybrid streetlights in the future.
