Protection technology for distributed generation systems

Distributed generation(DG) development and its protection technology are summarized in the paper.Some protection problems are presented.Three aspects of protection technologies and their characteristics are focused,including coordination of DG and protection,effect on automatic reclosing,island detection and protection.And some advices are also proposed for improving protection technology of DG.
