Although talking outputs are widely regarded as "state of the art" and most appropriate for making measuring devices accessible to the blind, these readouts have limitations, and there is a significant place for analog readouts using combinations of tones and B raille markings. This is particularly the case for the measurement of dynamic signals. This paper presents an example of a device which combines both features.
