The Partial State Reference Model Control Relevant Identification

Abstract This paper presents an iterative partial state reference model (PSRM) control relevant identification scheme designed within the delta operator formulation. The motivation of this iterative method is to carry out a joint design of identification and control with the intention of improving performances and stability robustness. The PSRM: control design, using a generalized predictive control approach, is motivated by its tracking performance. An experimental evaluation involving a flexible transmission system is made to demonstrate the applicability of the considered PSRM control system.
