Transference matrix method for dynamics analysis of motorized spindle

The structural characteristics of motorized spindle were introduced;by the use of transference matrix method let the characteristics be simplified and a sectionalized modeling was carried out and the mathematical description was carried through on the status of typical units in the shafting.Directed against the special structure of the motorized spindle the status vector of partial typical units in the simplified model was modified.The transference matrix equation of motorized spindle(namely the frequency equation of shafting) was obtained,and taking a certain typed motorized spindle as an example the obtained transference matrix equation was applied to calculate the inherent frequency and critical speed of the shafting.At the same time by applying the finite element analytical software ANSYS,the 3D model of the living example of the motorized spindle was established and the modality analysis was carried out.The obtained inherent frequency and the first ordered vibration type were basically coincident with the calculation result of the transference matrix equation.This made clear that the modification on the being advanced frequency equation of the motorized spindle shafting was feasible and furthermore approaches to the practical circumstances and bears important referencing value to the dynamics analysis of the motorized spindle,
