The Management System: Implementation and User Interface

The novel concepts addressing process evolution support and process knowledge management have been implemented within AHEAD. The latter is not the result of this work alone but has been developed for a couple of years by a team of researchers and students. Results concerning other aspects of AHEAD than the ones presented here have been published in [Heimann, Joeris et al., 1996; Krapp, 1998; Westfechtel, 1999b] and [Jager, 2002]. This chapter gives an overview of the overall implementation of AHEAD and covers those parts in detail, that are either very essential or particularly address one of the new concepts presented in the earlier chapters.
