A Study on the Structure and Characteristics of the Subjects of Outdoor Space Design

Toshiaki Sawada, Akihiro Matsunaga, Hideo Yamanaka, Hiroyuki Mizuguchi In order to plan better outdoor space, we heard some problems from civic design and urban design active workers and their researchers. Then these problems are grouped into five;design recognition, design thought, design system, design technique and design evaluation. After that we structured these problems and analyzed the characteristics of them. This research will contribute to make the structures of these problems clear and to plan better out door space.
