A, mucous neck cells; in the neck region of the gastric glands, a granular appearance of fluorescent material is evident (Pg I, Pg II). B, chief cells; in the lower third of gastric glands, many fluorescent granules are present (Pg I, Pg II). C, pyloric glands; densely staining fluorescent material is present (Pg I). D, Brunner’s glands; homogeneously staining fluorescent material is present within these cells (Pg II). (x400).
