An energy management system for an offshore power grid comprises an information layer, a station control layer and a spacer layer. The information layer, the station control layer and the spacer layer are respectively disposed on a central control station and distributed in platform work stations of a plurality of offshore platform power stations in a sea area, and the station control layer is connected and communicated with the information layer and the spacer layer through a communication network. The energy management system realizes monitor and control to generator sets and circuit breakers, distribution and adjustment control to in-station reactive power and reactive power capacity, preferential trip control, start and management control to loops of a motor, black start of a power grid and distribution control to a platform switch-off system through the information layer, the station control layer and the spacer layer. In addition, the energy management system has the advantages of high channel speed and automation degree, high function integration, safe and reliable work, easy maintenance, flexible arrangement and the like.
