Über Oxidpnictide: Zur Kenntnis von Ba2Mn2Sb2O und Ba2Mn2Bi2O/On Oxidpnictides: Preparation and Crystal Structure of Ba2Mn2Sb2O and Ba2Mn2Bi2O

Abstract The new oxide pnictides Ba2Mn2Sb2O and Ba2Mn2Bi2O crystallize in the hexagonal system (space group P63/mmc) with the following constants: Ba2Mn2Sb2O: a = 471 ± 1 pm, c = 2004 ± 2 pm, c/a = 4.255, Ba2Mn2Bi2O: a = 480.3 ± 0.5pm, c = 2009.7 ± 1.0pm, c/a = 4.184. The Mn and Sb(Bi) atoms form corrugated hexagonal nets. These nets are bridged between the Mn atoms by O atoms to double layers separated by Ba atoms.
