Recognizing excellence and beyond

Upsilon Pi Epsilon Upsilon Pi Epsilon is an honor society whose mission is to recognize academic excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Computing and Information Disciplines. Founded in 1967, it has more than 275 chapters at colleges and universities in forty-seven US states and abroad. UPE provides scholarships and awards to student members of UPE, and is a founding sponsor of the International Collegiate Programming Contest. If your college or university doesn’t have a UPE chapter, you may very well be the visionary who can make it happen. The UPE website [4] contains a wealth of information that will be helpful for you, and I or any member of the UPE Executive Council will be glad to assist you in getting it started.
