High energy inelastic diffraction phenomena

ConclusionsThe results surveyed above are, of course, only examples of the method developed. This method may be extended on different other phenomena (this, extension is in fact now being performed). In particular, the formation of pairs-accompanying the diffraction of a particle by a nucleus and some other effects. have been considered. In some cases it has turned out reasonable to consider the nucleus as being partly transparent. The behaviour of a diffracted particle may be represented in the essential region in a more general way than that offered by the Kirchhoff formula etc. All these and similar other possibilities deserve further investigation.
