The invention discloses an intelligent photon therapeutic instrument. The intelligent photon therapeutic instrument comprises a body, a control device, a driving device arranged on the body, a contractible rod, a therapeutic head, an ultraviolet light source and an image pick-up module, wherein the telescopic rod and the therapeutic head are connected with the driving device, and the ultraviolet light source and the image pick-up module are arranged on the therapeutic head; and the control device can control the driving device according to images fed back by the image pick-up module to make the driving device drive the contractible rod to extend and contract. The invention also discloses a control method of the intelligent photon therapeutic instrument. The control method of the intelligent photon therapeutic instrument includes the following steps that: the intelligent photon therapeutic instrument is turned on; the control device controls the image pick-up module to work, the control device analyzes tissue images shot by the image pick-up module and obtains the position of a lesion, the driving device drives the therapeutic head to move to the lesion; the control device controls the ultraviolet light source to emit radiation of a preset dose; and the intelligent photon therapeutic instrument is turned off. According to the intelligent photon therapeutic instrument and the control method thereof of the invention, the control device can obtain the position of the lesion through analysis according to the images fed back by the image pick-up module, and the therapeutic head automatically reaches the lesion, and therefore, automatic control and convenient operation can be realized, the short-distance high-efficiency radiation of ultraviolet light to the lesion can be facilitated, treatment time can be shortened, the utilization rate of the ultraviolet light can be improved, energy can be saved, high safety and high reliability can be realized.
