PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI MODEL THINK PAIR AND SHARE DI SDN 26 JATI UTARA PADANG

This study aimed to describe the learning outcome Social Sciences fifth grade students of SDN 26 North Jati Padang District East. The purpose of research is to improve learning outcomes Social Sciences fifth grade students by using learning model Think Pair and Share. The subjects were fifth grade students of SDN 26 North Jati Padang District East, totaling 28 students. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. An instrument which is used is the observation sheet activities of teachers, assessment of affective domain (non-test) and cognitive assessment (test). Based on the results of the cognitive assessment on the student's knowledge the first cycle with the percentage of completeness 64.28% and an average of 75.35, an increase in the second cycle with the thoroughness of 82.14% and an average of 83.57. The ability of understanding the students in the first cycle was 57.14% and an average of 67.67, an increase in the second cycle with the thoroughness of 82.14% and an average of 83.57. Rate affective on the ability of responsibility and cooperation of students the first cycle by an average 69.86% increase in cycle II with an average of 82.58%. Based on the results of this study concluded that the Social Sciences learning through learning model Think Pair and Share can improve learning outcomes fifth grade students at SDN 26 North Jati Padang District East.
