차량의 Wheel Alignment 변화에 따른 타행주행 특성

This paper presents a study of wheel alignment effect regarding coast down simulation. Due to greenhouse effect and CO2 regulation from EU and others country, Car Company enforce to improve fuel economy through all parts and system of vehicle. They adapt many solution to reduce overall friction of vehicle such as low rolling resistance tire and low drag caliper and so on for vehicle dynamic perspective. In this study, vehicle dynamics were studied to find out improving coast down characteristics, because it needs to calculate F/E of each vehicle to measure specific coast down characteristics of vehicle and it affects overall F/E improvement or worsening. In this paper, vehicle wheel alignments were studied within vehicle architecture because wheel alignments have a tolerance from minimum to maximum within vehicle dynamic performance bandwidth. Using DOE (Design Of Experiments) methods, wheel alignments effect were evaluated through 121 load-cases based on Kriging Method. To simulate vehicle dynamics due to changing wheel alignment, CarSim was used and post processed EC method. From this study, the wheel alignments were affected coast down characteristics through simulation and proposed optimal wheel alignment parameter. Through this results, proposed optimal wheel alignment are improved cost down characteristics within vehicle performance bandwidth.
