Real Time Simulation Platform Design of Traffic Control Hardware In-The-Loop

To obtain the optimized timing plan of meeting the need of logic and parameters of signal controller,real time communications between simulation experimental environment and field controller is necessary to operate the optimized timing plan rapidly.This paper gives out the design planning of real time simulation platform for traffic control hardware-in-the-loop and the critical research contents.By introducing hardware-in-the-loop simulation,controller interface device(CID) is loaded into traffic control simulation software and traffic signal controller to form the real time integrative environment which conforms to the traffic control real condition.Through controller interface device(CID),traffic simulation software can realize the real time communications to traffic controller which cast off the condition of separating operation of traffic simulation software and traffic controller without communications.
