Dynamic wireless power charging of electric vehicles using optimal placement of transmitters

Advent of Wireless Power Transfer led to fade plugin electric vehicle, have an effective driving distance and decrease battery storage. It is proposed to build the robust and reliable dynamic wireless power charging for electric vehicle. Although there has been great enhancement in static wireless power transfer for energizing electric vehicles, such significant achievement in dynamic charging technology has not been performed to gain desirable efficiency. It is planned in this project to find the optimal power transfer efficiency (PTE) based on the consistent coupling coefficient. The constant coupling coefficient will be derived out of optimal placement of transmitter coils in a road. Through that, the overall coupling coefficient and accordingly the induced current between receiver and transmitters will be always constant. In other words, the static wireless power transfer is replicated by optimal placement of transmitters to define concept of dynamic wireless transfer.
