BAD: a Basic language compiler for the TMS 320C31 DSP

This paper presents a new programming language for the TMS320C31, which provides a better access to the processor hardware than the C language, and an algebraic syntax of runtime expressions, unlike TI's assembly language. Several examples show the readability of signal processing algorithms implemented with this Basic-like language.
