The Research About the Time Keeping System of Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology

As the traceability center of Shanghai and east of China, Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology(SIMT) developed the first hydrogen atomic time and frequency standard in the 70s of last century. It has all the technological bases for building a time keeping system. Based on the existing scale of time keeping system of SIMT, this paper introduces the system structure, the properties of atomic clocks, the level of time scale and the follow-up work plan.
