Amplifier-Less Transmission of Single Channel 112Gbit/s PAM4 Signal Over 40km Using 25G EML and APD at O band

For the first time, we experimentally demonstrated an amplifier-less transmission of a single lane 112Gbit/s PAM4 signal over 40km using 25G EML and APD at O band with a record receiver sensitivity of −14.8dBm.
