A singular perturbation method for discrete control systems

Abstract Systems described by state difference equations containing small parameters are cast into singularly perturbed form. A perturbation method is developed to obtain an approximate solution consisting of an outer series and a correction series. The characteristic features of singular perturbations are clearly brought, out. Due to the interplay between the various steps involved in the actual working of the method, an algorithm is presented. Examples are given to illustrate the method.
