Estudo de interfaces acessíveis para usuários com deficiência visual em dispositivos móveis touch screen

The use of touch screen interfaces on smart phones and tablets has brought enormous benefits of usability for most users. However, it represents a new challenge of interaction for users with visual impairments. In this context, our paper describes a study on the fundamental aspects of a accessible touch screen interface. The study compares the main research on assistive technology to facilitate interaction of the visually impaired with touch screen mobile devices. We also evaluate, with a group of visually impaired people, a proposal for an accessible user interface with audible feedback on the Android platform. Thus, we seek to view the difficulties faced by these users in more general situations during interaction with the interface of a Twitter client.
