This paper presents the analysis and discussion of the rollover propensity of a make of 3-wheeled scooter taxi used extensively on Southeast Asian roads. The study was carried out using a 6 degree-of-freedom simulation. Verification of the model was performed against measured accelerations measured over speed breakers. Rollover stability was examined through simulation of various motor vehicle steering, turn, and recovery maneuvers.
