Numerical Simulation of the Forces Acted on Vertical Island Breakwater by Oblique Wave

Hetian Formula is more often adopted in China for calculating the forces acted on vertical breakwater by oblique wave, in which the length (B) of a single caisson along the axial direction of breakwater is not considered. Numerical simulation shows that the measureless steel parameter Bsinα/L(α─wave incident angle, L─wave length) is an important factor affecting the forces.
