A Context-aware Model to Support Ubiquitous Group Decision Making

Due to the costs to create conditions that allow participants to meet in the same place at the same time (time, travel, etc.) the ubiquitous Group Decision Support Systems appeared allowing decisionmakers to contribute with their ideas to the decision process anywhere and anytime. In this paper is proposed a model which enables decision-makers to contribute with their ideas to the decision process anywhere and anytime. It is a context-aware model which allows obtaining values of certain typical variables of the affective context (emotions and mood) and to transform those values in advises. So it enables the group reaches more easily the decision, strengthening the satisfaction of each member with the decision made. Also here are presented the architecture and mechanisms which could be used in the development of a prototype based on the presented model.
