A survey of denser-than-air atmospheric dispersion models

This survey of denser-than-air atmospheric dispersion models has been conducted by the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for the US Air Force Engineering and Services Center, Tyndall AFB as part of their effort to update their atmospheric dispersion modeling capability. The goal of this LLNL study is to identify the more recent denser-than-air atmospheric dispersion models proposed in the literature and to provide brief descriptions of current models. For the purposes of this survey, ''more recent'' is defined as the year 1980 and later. Furthermore, we do not describe every model found in this category; rather we consider only those models that appear to have been actively used and further developed during the 1980's and are therefore judged to be current. 38 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab.
