Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Modelling For ATM Machine Placement

The aim of this research is to determine the strategic location for placing ATM machines (automatic transaction machines) so that customers can easily make transactions with ease. ATM placement is based on the results of customer opinions or suggestions, which are obtained by collecting data, namely getting suggestions from customers in the form of questionnaires. Based on the results of the distribution of questionnaires, 46% stated that the position of ATMs was in the university environment, 18% of the supermarket environment was obtained, at the gas station, the result was 10%, in the hospital the result was 10% and 9% in the hotel environment. The design of ATM machine placement uses the AHP Model as a solution to problems experienced by banks by finding the best alternative based on predetermined criteria. AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) model can also determine criteria. In this case, it is an assessment factor in comparing one location to another. The results of this study found that the use of the AHP Model based on predetermined criteria and alternatives can help banks determine alternatives from several alternatives quickly in making decisions to determine the strategic location of ATMs according to customer desires.
