Digestion of soil samples for the determination of trace amounts of lead by differential-pulse anodic stripping voltammetry

An HNO3—HClO4 dissolution procedure followed by evaporation, re-dissolution and dilution with a CH3CO2H—KNO3 electrolyte is shown to be effective for the treatment of soil samples prior to the determination of trace amounts of lead by differential-pulse anodic stripping voltammetry.
