SC-tool: a layout-generation CAD program for general SC-circuits and filters

The authors describe a CAD tool for the automatic layout generation of switched-capacitor (SC) filters and general networks. The CAD-tool is independent of the technology used. Both placement and routing take into account the properties of SC circuits. Due to its flexible concept, the layout generator is able to deal with nonconventional SC circuit elements such as multipliers and comparators. The main aspects of the CAD tool are outlined, some specific circuit layouts presented, and measurement results of some chips given.<<ETX>>
