Virtual Experiment of Ride Comfort of Motorcycle Based on ADAMS

This paper employs the Functional Digital Prototyping and 3D modeling software UG to establish a dig- ital 3D model for frame,handle,front and rear suspension,and rear fork.After assembling,these parts are entirely inducted to multiplex dynamics software ADAMS.The same restraint,force and motion of the real motorcycle are ex- erted on them to form a 6 DOF digital function simulation model of the entire motorcycle.In addition,based on the PSD of certain road,this paper establishes corresponding documents about the road and makes a virtual test of ride comfort on the established road via ADAMS.From this study,it can be concluded that it is effective to analyze the ride comfort of motorcycle by establishing the detailed Functional Digital Prototyping.
