A Reliable Prognostic Communication Routing for Flying Ad Hoc Networks

Flying ad hoc networks (FANET) is a new tangled archetype wireless communication that presides over the self-governing group of Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAVs) and support UAV to UAV communication. The communication between the UAVs is used to reduce the central infrastructure like Ground Control Station or satellite. The traditional protocol of wireless communication do not meet out the challenges of the FANET due to its high speed mobility, frequent topological changes, complicated environment and varied flight task. Hence maintain communication between UAV is highly challenging task. The main contribution of this paper focuses a reliable communication routing using the Global Positioning System (GPS) with improved Optimized Link State Routing Protocol (i_ OLSR). To provide the effective routing, link quality estimation and speed weighted Expected Transmission count (ETX) are calculated for the pursue mobility model in the NS3 platform.
