ANALYSIS ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND PRICE OF FUEL TRUCK IN MAKASSAR

Trucks have a significant role in the transport of building materials for the needs of infrastructure development in Makassar. However, the operation of the truck on the urban road network for such activities, has brought the problem issue of environmental impact of increased traffic accidents, improving urban transport congestion, increased emissions and vehicle noise. In this context of understanding the extent of the contribution of trucks on the issue of these problems, as a preliminary study on the issue, then this paper focuses on analyzing the amount of fuel to the truck traffic in the city of Makassar. This study has been conducted a survey enumeration traffic volume during the 13 hours from 07:00 to 22:00 on the main roads in the city of Makassar. The survey results were extracted to obtain the amount of fuel in trucks to the existing traffic volume. Further analysis of the amount of fuel trucks throughout the day is done by using statistical analysis approach. The results show that the use of solar energy consumption for large trucks 15.82 liters/100 km, medium truck 15.15 liters/100 km and a small truck 10.64 liters/100 km, while the small trucks use gasoline 8.11 liters/100 km. Then the amount of fuel that is used large trucks Rp. 1,361/km, medium truck Rp. 1,303/km and small trucks Rp. 915/km using solar while small trucks use gasoline Rp. 697/km.
