System and method for realizing IP multimedia business monitoring

The invention discloses an IP multimedia service monitoring system, including: a monitoring center sends a monitoring command containing ID of the monitored user to CSCF; the CSCF real-time monitors if the corresponding user end to this ID is performing related event of IP multimedia service or communication: if he is performing the former, the CSCF informs related event information of multimedia service control interface to the monitoring center: if he is performing the latter, the CSCF commands GGSN to send his communication content containing the address of the monitoring center to the monitoring center; after the GGSN receives the command, it copies the communication data and then sends the related event information of the user terminal and the copied communication data to the monitoring center. The invention also discloses a method for monitoring IP multimedia service, able to monitor related event information of IMS multimedia service and communication data.
